Since last week's Angel Cafe on 11/22 with Aisling Mooney and 21 practitioners, I've been reengaged with my own essence friends! 

Thank you, essence guides Sara Estelle Turner and Aislng Irwin for sharing your gifts, and my friend Alessandro for inviting me to participate! (I signed up for Alessandro's complementary month with his online Qigong group!)

I pulled out essences and definitions to concoct several "bouquets" to help my grandkids focus on their schoolwork, as I'm Distant Learning Aide for the 3rd graders. They helped choose flowers from my suggestions, and named their bouquets. Today we tested them for the first time ...

I checked definitions in several books, including Molly Sheehan's Green Hope Farm Essences guide. This evening, I reread the section on her trips to Ireland and essences she created while there. During her visit in 2005, she had a chat with the elementals* shortly before she left, asking why they had been so supportive of her work.

They replied, "We steady this planet. We steady out emerald island. Most often, we steady against the imprecations of humans, but we find in this project, humans working to steady the planet with us. We thank you one and all for working with the Flower Essences and working to both balance yourself and your worlds. We need you. We need you most intently right now." 

The went on to talk about water coming, flooding (and as we have seen in the last 15 years, other earth changes!) And invited humans to step up and help 'Steady.'

"What do we mean by steadying? Your efforts to find balance in your lives matter." 

They go on to clarify that while our "ecological footprint" is out of balance, "the most pressing need is for you to work on your emotional footprint... You must stop leaving your emotional chaos littering the natural world. You must invite us to clear the land you inhabit."

The Elementals then asked Molly to put her basic process for Land Cleansing (or "Tuning") after their message in the guide. 

"You may think that your contribution to this effort would not make any difference. You would be wrong in this. We were interested in Molly's farm, small though it is, because, in part, the routine energetic cleansing done at this garden has helped in a significant way. .

"We speak in a united voice with our brethren Elementals of the new world when we speak of the significance of energetic cleansing. ... If you want to begin a deeper relationship by helping us in some way, doing any variation of the following process would be much appreciated. 

"Green Blessings."

I share this process with Molly's enthusiastic permission. Like the Irish Elementals, Molly feels the more people who do this in harmony with the guides of their bit of land, the better! She has had several experiences where bad weather was avoided or diverted, after being nudged by the angels to do this clearing every day.  

During the wildfires in September, I did this clearing daily for both my bit of land, and remotely for my beloved Breitenbush Hot Springs. Though much burned, including Vista where I offered massage, and the Sanctuary where I taught Tai Chi and Qigong, much was saved.

Molly comments that the guides & devas delight in being asked to help us. She & others who are sensitive to land energies feel that nature holds & stores energy that has been released when there are intense emotions, battles, etc. And when we ask, "A group of spiritual entities connected with Nature do the actual energy cleansing but this group cannot do this work unless a human asks them to do it. It is one of our vital roles in the co-creation & maintenance of earth. If a human doesn't ask for energy cleansing for a piece of land & this land is holding a lot of negativity, spirit's only options for removing this negativity are extreme weather."

Here's the Process Molly & I use:
** Imagine the boundaries of the land you wish to clear (you may want to have a map of your property, if it's larger, & may be guided to clear it in sections. If you're in an apartment, clear your own space, imagining the grounding cord of the apt going into the earth below you, & clear the land surrounding the apt. Invite guidance for what best suites your circumstances!

Energy Cleansing Process
Find a quiet & comfortable place to center yourself. In the beginning, you'll want to be in the garden/ on the land you're clearing.
"Ask for assistance from:
The Overlighting Deva of the piece of land you want to clean. This being from the Angelic realm holds the divine plan for this piece of land. (Deva is a Sanskrit word meaning 'being of Light')
Angels Overlighting the land. They work with the Deva
The Elementals of the land. These are the beings who bring land into form & then hold it there so we can live in a physical world. Gnomes for the Earth element, Undine with water, Sylphs work with air, & Salamanders with fire.
Pan, Head Elemental of Earth (Machaelle Wright calls Pan the CEO of Nature)
Any Ascended Master of God realized being who is connected with this piece of land. There may or may not be any connected, depending on the piece of land. (You can always invite the presence of the Ascended Master Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, Quan Yin, St Germain, & other Masters with whom you you feel connected.)

Molly: 'You can visualize all the negativity being removed from the land both below & above the ground. You can visualize yourself or an angel holding a sword (Michael/Michaella) cutting all the negativity free, perhaps spinning in a circle holding the sword out; or you can imagine a big gyroscope whirling & cleansing. 

"The image only needs to work for you. If visualization isn't possible, it's OK. The land will still be cleansed because you have asked to have it done. Close the session with a thanks to everyone involved.

"This is the bare bones of a process. Over time you will probably develop your own individual approach. For example, you may get to know the names of the Deva & Angels of the land. You may get shown a process that will improve on this one. You may get asked to do several pieces of land. Thank you for doing this service."

Violet Flame

** I also like to imagine a hedge of roses (think Brier Rose) with portals of violet flame at the entrances, clearing folks' energy as they enter or leave. At times I erect a golden pyramid above my property (rectangular here :) or a violet bubble - check in & see if any images come!

Any time you feel vulnerable, are concerned about weather or safety, take a few moments to do this process. You can check in to see how often to tune your land - I strive for several times a week, and uusually walk pour my back door, do the invocation, and within a few moments, feel a frisson.

It helps to have quick name for the process - you may simply invite 'Devas, Angels & guides of this place, please CLEANSE, CLEAR, RE-BALANCE & ILLUMINATE this land!' And when you feel the process is complete, thank them.

* Besides clearing my own land, I often invite the Devas/guides of the city where I live (or someplace I'm visiting) to CLEANSE, CLEAR, RE-BALANCE & ILLUMINATE  that place, as appropriate.

I reason that any place humans can toss litter, I can invite the guides to help clear! I especially see the 'green areas' being cleared, parks, the planting strips & flower pots in the downtown, etc. Molly invites us to listen to our guidance, & network with the devas, guides & elementals on this! 

My friend Gwynne Warner practices Feng Shui, and writes, "this is the 10th Lunar month, the "kindly moon" in Chinese tradition," she invite us to "go outside beneath the luminous night sky, and make an offering of gratitude to the moon herself. A prostration or a bow. A song or a dance. A cup of tea poured into the earth. A fresh flows blossom laid on the earth. Then speak your blessing: 

'Beauteous moon, I know you are here! I am so deeply happy and grateful for your presence in my life.' 

I am making Land Tuning my daily practice for this 10th lunar month - the Elementals ask me to invite you to join us, "it will be of the highest service, and prepares the way for the next shifts and integration! Your help is needed - Thank you." 

Imbolc & Land Clearing

Over the last year, I've spent more time on my Artsy Blog than I have here; as I was enrolled in a Quest to become a teacher & coach in the Color of Woman movement! I finished my coursework on schedule with many of my class in December (woo hoo!!), & am working on building my classes & offerings. I have a couple of pieces in a show at a local Artist Co-op Gallery, & will teach my first class in their 'Backdoor Studio' this month.

This week I've been working on my website, making some artsy business cards (I need to order some with my art on them!), and am preparing to take some of my 'ladies' and paper project over to a friend's Yoga Studio for the First Friday Art & Wine walk. 

We are at the cross-quarter between Winter Solstice & Spring Equinox, Imbolc, the time of the goddess washing her face, and preparing for the new. This is a great time for the Land Clearing process I've shared here before.

Our weekly Farmers Market is held at the Grange Hall on the edge of town which sits on a lovely piece of land with tall trees. This is one of the places I clear when I think to.
At Findhorn Garden in Scotland, the original gardeners worked in close harmony with nature, & were enjoined to bring light into the soil as they worked with it, to eat from the garden, & to drink lots of water. This is good to remember, in our busy & often far-from-nature world!

Violet Flame & 200 posts!

Since I've been blogging rather infrequently (eh-hem) the last several years, 

This weekend a friend & I visited the Lavender festival in Yamhill, & (as usual) I came home with several plants.  Always a pleasure to see the booths, connect with old friends & new, view the lovely artwork.  Then today, I took a lovely class on Lightweaving from a friend & fellow Reiki Master - lovely work! 

Sheila writes: "Light Weaving is a method of healing that works primarily with the energetic body. Light Weaving restores missing connections in the energetic body, and also restores connections between the energetic body and the physical body. When missing connections in the energetic body are restored, the related dysfunctional area in the physical body receives more complete information and energy and so can restructure itself properly. This restructuring not only happens in the physical body, it also happens in the related emotional and mental structures. And with this restoration, every pattern related to the dysfunction will heal. Usually with this treatment, people do not have to remember and work through old emotional traumas. With the restoration of the energetic connections they just heal."

We took part I last weekend, & I've been practicing on friends & clients - wow! Some folks 'just drift,' as I often do with energy work, others had revelations or information .... & I found myself drawn to make several flower essence blends, including a 'garden bouquet' where a number of different flowers float in the water - 

Lavender - St Germain Violet Flame Essence

Molly Sheehan, of Green Hope Farm essences also suggests including a sweep of the Violet Flame after doing a Land Clearing! I have done this several times now, & feel an appreciative 'ripple' whenever I do!   

Molly writes: "The energy process requested most often by the Angels & Elementals after a basic cleansing was the Violet Transmuting Flame. .... the process makes the land feel more harmonious & lighter in vibration." Picture a soothing flame, like a flame in a fireplace, but violet in colour. See it penetrating your very being and world. When you call forth the Violet Transmuting Flame, a flame comes from the hands, heart & head of your I AM presence / Christ Self - and as it touches the ground beneath your feet, it bursts into violet flame! Recently I've seen several posts concerning extreme weather in various parts of the country (Hurricane, drought). Let's think Local, & let it ripple out! The guides say "You may get asked to do several pieces of land. Thank you for doing this service."

Several years ago, my friend Molly Sheehan of Green Hope Farm Essences shared this wonderful land clearing practice, given by the guides of her land. She gardens co-creatively, & has a very sweet 'anyone can do this' attitude. Molly graciously gave me permission to share this, saying that the more people doing this or similar processes the better!

Machaelle Wright of Perelandra teaches similar processes in her Garden Workbooks, & offers her own powerful essences. I work with both of their processes & essences, integrating them into my own processes.

* I printed out a copy, put it in a vinyl 'sheet protector,' & posted it in my shower, & would clear the land each morning as I cleansed myself! Currently I keep one on an altar, & one at my office. It really does only take a few minutes, & is well worth the extra effort! Molly does it daily, I usually do it weekly, but at times more often.

If you have a name for your land/home, use that. Journal about the process, share it, do it with a group - & do it whenever you're worried about 'weather' or other extreme happenings around the planet! It helps.

Today I was reading Doreen Virtue's "Healing With the Fairies. I have her deck of the same name, & enjoy pulling a fairy card or two to for inspiration.

On page 71 she writes:"Deep within lightworkers' hearts & guts, they have a sense of time urgency.
"... think of a smog layer over the earth, but imagine instead of air pollution, it is a collection of fear-based thoughts. It consists of all the anger felt during morning commutes to work, plus 'lack thoughts,' where humans believe they lack the money, love or time that they need. These negative energies clog the dense level hugging the earth. ... it has a detrimental effect on everyone on the planet, including Mother Earth herself.

"If lightworkers lived & breathed this 'smog' which we call' race-mind consciousness,' they would become depressed and incapable of helping to eradicate it. So the heavenly supporters to lightworkers -- including the archangels, master healers, teachers, elementals, & starpeople -- send strong bands of lightwaves to the lighworkers. It is usually received in one ear as a high pitched tone that can seem loud, & even painful. This tone elevates the body's frequency above the race-mind consciousness, so the lightworker can retain a pool of energy & hopefulness that will motivate him or her to contribute to the solution."

Performing Land tunings on a regular basis contributes to the solution, & helps reduce 'smog' & raise vibration - both our own, our land & those around us. Won't you please add your 'tunings!'

Among the herbs

Lovely day for being outside, again!
I putzed around in the kitchen for awhile, reorganizing my herb/spice rack, & clearing off that counter. Doesn't it seem like things like that take an inordinate amount of time?? But so nice when done!
I made yogurt out of the last of the goat's milk - will see how my grandkids like it! It's easy - & the milk is available from a friend - nice option. The 'milk' kefir cultures so well on the coconut milk - nice & thick, plus tasty!
It's funny - I ordered a case (12 cans) of the coconut milk, but I've noticed that it takes awhile for the message to get to the right folks at the natural foods store!! I saw 'more cans than usual' on the shelf last week, & asked if my order had come in - the checker went & looked (in the back) . . . . No . . . .
Last year I asked for them to carry the coconut OIL I like in a larger size - & there were several quarts on the shelf before I got called to say 'it's in.' So my sense is, when the 'special order' comes in, they just shelve it, unless it's the person who took the order doing the stocking! So I need to ask again, (seems like they were extra busy or I was in a hurry when I did ask) & suggest they come up with a more consistent system?

Meanwhile, yesterday a friend mentioned having smudged her yard, & I mentioned my 'land clearing process' as another option - so sent her the link to my post on that - tuning & clearing! It will be nice to get her feedback - I love doing it! In the afternoon, I began weeding & trimming my herb garden. Some of this garden was already in place when I moved in, & I've added to it over the years.
Lavender, sage, rosemary, bronze fennel, lemon balm, a vitex & a grape, rue, several Thyme plants, chives, catmint, parsley & feverfew (that self sew) . . . with a border of lambs ears that gets bigger every year, & stones. I trimmed lavender & thyme, pulled some weeds & roots, & decided to use a bit of that in the ground edging I got a few years ago at a master Gardner event as a border, & ripple the edge of the garden a bit.

I got quite a bit done before the light faded - plus had phone calls from two old friends that I hadn't heard from in awhile :) More tomorrow, weather allowing!

Tune-up

Last year I took a workshop in using Tuning Forks as healing tools - fascinating! & fun. They can be used on accupuncture meridians for a similar (& sometimes more potent!) effect, above the body, etc.

Using song or tones in a session is like tuning a musical instrument. In a favorite childhood book, 'Just David' by Eleanor Porter, David is encouraged by his violinist father to sound his 'true note in the orchestra of life.' We each have our note, our unique vibration, tuning forks assist us discover resonance with that note. Vibrating forks are placed on meridians & acupuncture points or swept over the body, bringing balance, peace, a return to health & wholeness.

Yesterday I was updating my website - www.ladyharper.com & added the land clearing process (which I've shared here at the Vale) to my essence page.

I love making flower essences - as Molly Sheehan, essences goddess of Green Hope Farm in Meriden, New Hampshire says, ""Not all of us have an Ascended Master living in our neighborhood, but we all have access to flowers. The flowers have never forgotten they are One with the Creator!"

To make an essence, one gathers a few of the desired flowers, (without touching with your fingers - so clip & let them drop into a bowl, or use a leaf from the same plant), drop into a bowl of clear water (spring or well if possible), let sit in the sunlight for ~ 4 hours, strain the flowers, & bottle the liquid with 1/3 spirits, usually brandy. (Since 1994 Molly has used Red Shiso as a stabilizer in her essence bottles, which are cobalt blue. Delightful!)
Essences are simply another way of preserving flowers (such as the true Bay pictured above) for our year round use. We can be blessed with the energy of the flowers in bloom in our gardens & greenhouses any time we're with them!

In 2007, as awareness of the plight of the bees began to reach the 'mainstream,' Molly addressed land clearing or 'tune-up' in several messages on her blog. One role of bees, in addition to polination & honey making, is clearing or 'tuning' land with the music of their humm. Here's an excerpt from her 2007 blog:

"Land, like everything else vibrates at a variable rate of speed. These vibrations are a kind of music. The lower or slower the vibration, the more heavy, dense, and negative the land feels. Land so encumbered is too burdened to make beautiful music or express its truest self in song. When land is cleared and the vibration is high, there is a greater likelihood that the land will be free to sing the song of its true self.

"We all know pieces of land that feel just right, places where you just know the land is singing its music freely and gloriously. Land is really no different than a musical instrument. Just as with a musical instrument, you can bang out notes on an out of tune instrument and get the drift of the melody, but after a tune up it’s a different musical experience entirely. The more frequent the tune ups, the better the music.

"Even if a spot of land receives little or no direct dumping of denser emotions like fear or anger, all land needs clearing. Wind and rain deposits negativity from other sources onto land. Dissonance from our modern technologies also affects the vibration of land adversely as our technology affects the vibrations everywhere on Earth. This is why even wilderness can benefit from land clearing.

"You can simplify the process by just asking for help from the divine beings connected to the land. You do not need to list specific names to get help. Any genuine request for assistance will get assistance. Right now, the Angels are telling me, “Make this as simple as possible so people actually do this process. We need help." "
(Remember to ask them to 'cleanse, clear, re-balance & illuminate' the land you're clearing!)

Molly says "I have built land clearing into my morning meditation routine so that I do it each day. This is the only way I can keep myself organized, but if this is not feasible for you, it is truly better to do it whenever you remember than never at all." (OK! I'm making a commitment to strive for daily as well!)

During intense weather, I 'tune' my lot frequently, inviting the 'greatest balance with the least damage, serving the highest good' for the area. As the snow began melting after our unusual winter storms, I asked that the land (throughout the county, as appropriate) be receptive to receive the water, & that we avoid the flooding that often results when the ground is still frozen.

While living at the Oregon coast, a group of Reiki practitioners & cleared our stretch of coastline weekly, in addition to each clearing our own land. At a workshop on attunement, we received guidance that this was especially important for the Highway corridor. These larger area clearings are sweet to do with a group (I always ask that these clearings be 'for the highest good of all concerned' & in harmony with the needs of the area.)

About 10 years ago, Molly recounted a tornado going around her land, after she'd been 'asked' (by her guides) to do the process daily for several weeks! The tornado left a swath of fallen trees as it came directly toward the farm, then moved along her fence-line, resuming damage after skirting her farm!
Unless given other means of releasing energetic toxicity, the Earth's recourse is often weather.
With this process, we can assist Nature in clearing, so the resulting 'weather' can be less intense!! What a gift in this time of 'global climate change!!'

We can also 'tune' our homes - here's a process combining teachings of lightworker Amorah Quan Yin, & a clearing shared in one of my Reiki Trainings:

• Put a grounding cord on your home (imagine the 'footprint' of your home, now imagine a cord or tube reaching down into the heart center of the earth, & connecting with it)
• Visualize a rose-gold sun in the center of your home - let its light fill every corner! Allow this sun to continue expanding, till it surrounds your home.
• As the sun reaches the outside of your home or space, begin the 'Tune-up' process by invoking the devas, elementals & guides to Cleanse, Clear, Restore & Illuminate your home & grounds.
  
• Ask that any negativity move through a clearing grid, so the energy can be used as compost, burned in the sun, or 'return to sender.'
  
• Surround the cleared land with a violet bubble, a gold pyramid, Dolphin Star Temple, or a briar rose hedge (whichever image feels right to you - or one of your own!)
  
• Thank your guides & go on with your day.

One with the Mother

In a few minutes I will do the meditation with my 1st harp, Tuilleadh (Tilly), "to give abundantly, in full measure." We lived at Breitenbush Hot Springs Resort & the Oregon coast in the mid 90s, she is infused with Reiki, & offers a wonderful connection with the earth energies. We'll begin with the 'Breitenbush River Ripple,' the first song that came to us, & see what else we want to play. (in the photo I was playing for a Breema workshop in the Forest Shelter at Breitenbush (surrounded by douglas fir, with french doors & windows overlooking the river, & a huge skylight, open to the stars.)


Here's my tea camellia in bloom - see the tiny pink buds?? At the Chinese Gardens this summer, I had some tea blossom tea - so now I know I can use them that way!! This one does better in a pot, tho it's fine on the porch during the winter; I have a larger leaved Russian one in my back yard.

Later today I'm going out to give a new mom massage at a local birthing center, & may get over to the lovely giant & dawn redwoods in the park by our library (across the street from my office - are you envious yet?) & there's a deodar cedar as well - sigh. One of my favoritest of all!!

Once I played her Tuille for friends with an elderly dog, Chetwin. At one point, Chet 'told' his mom "Is that another way she talks? It makes my whole body feel good!" How sweet is that? Chet suffered from aluminum poisoning, he'd chewed a bunch of pop cans their kids (long grown now) had collected.

Several years ago, I asked Molly's permission to share this story & cleansing process, & she graciously agreed, saying that the more people doing this or similar processes the better! Machaelle Wright of Perelandra teaches similar processes in her Garden Workbooks, & offers her own powerful essences.

* I printed out a copy, put it in a vinyl 'sheet protector,' & posted it in my shower, & would clear the land each morning as I cleansed myself! Currently I keep one on an altar. It really does only take a few minutes, & is well worth the extra effort!

If you have a name for your land/home, use that (Mine's Illahee Tsil Tsil Shanti - place of the stars singing (Chinook jargon - the trade language used by the NW natives between tribes & with the settlers, inc. grandma Mary. The name has travelled with me.

** Imagine the boundaries of the land you wish to clear (you may want to have a map of your property, if it's larger, & may be guided to clear it in sections. If you're in an apt., clear your own space, imagining the grounding cord of the apt going into the earth below you, & clear the land surrounding the apt. Pay attention to guidance on what suites your circumstances.

Molly comments that the guides & devas delight in being asked to help us, "A group of spiritual entities connected with Nature do the actual energy cleansing but this group cannot do this work unless a human asks them to do it. It is one of our vital roles in the co-creation & maintenance of earth. If a human doesn't ask for energy cleansing for a piece of land & this land is holding a lot of negativity, spirit's only options for removing this negativity are extreme weather." What a perfect time to share this process!!

Energy Cleansing Process

Find a quiet & comfortable place to center yourself.
"Ask for assistance from:
The Overlighting Deva of the piece of land you want to clean. This being from the Angelic realm holds the divine plan for this piece of land. (Deva is a Sanskrit word meaning 'being of Light')
Angels Overlighting the land. They work with the Deva
The Elementals of the land. These are the beings who bring land into form & then hold it there so we can live in a physical world. Gnomes for the Earth element, Undine with water, Sylphs work with air, & Salamanders with fire.
Pan, Head Elemental of Earth (Machaelle Wright calls Pan the CEO of Nature)
Any Ascended Master of God realized being who is connected with this piece of land. There may or may not be any connected, depending on the piece of land. (You can always invite the presence of the Ascended Master Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, Quan Yin, St Germain, & other Masters with whom you you feel connected.)

"After you call in this group, ask them to CLEANSE, CLEAR, RE-BALANCE & ILLUMINATE the land you are clearing.

"You can visualize all the negativity being removed from the land both below & above the ground. You can visualize yourself or an angel holding a sword (Michael/Michaella) cutting all the negativity free, perhaps spinning in a circle holding the sword out; or you can imagine a big gyroscope whirling & cleansing. The image only needs to work for you. If visualization isn't possible, it's OK. The land will still be cleansed because you have asked to have it done. Close the session with a thanks to everyone involved.

"This is the bare bones of a process. Over time you will probably develop your own individual approach. For example, you may get to know the names of the Deva & Angels of the land. You may get shown a process that will improve on this one. You may get asked to do several pieces of land. Thank you for doing this service."

** I also like to imagine a hedge of roses (think Brier Rose) with portals of violet flame at the entrances, clearing folks' energy as they enter or leave. At times I erect a golden pyramid above my property (rectangular here :) or a violet bubble - check in & see if any images come!
Any time you feel vulnerable, are concerned about weather or safety, take a few moments to do this process. It helps to have quick name for the process - you may simply invite 'Devas, Angels & guides of land clearing, please CLEANSE, CLEAR, RE-BALANCE & ILLUMINATE this land!'
